There are time limits. It depends what state you live how is the eastern boundary. Most employers require that the injury is reported immediately, and if the injury was not reported, the employer will have a solid defense against the payment of workers' compensation claims. I think in most states a claim may be brought within a year, but this is a very specific state so you need to know what the law is in your state.
