Had a car crash yesterday – question about compensation?
We were stationary and the driver plowed into us at 45-50mph. He has admitted full liability with the insurance. However, my back is aching badly and partners shoulders and neck is hurting. My three yr old is not sleeping and keeps talking and worrying about it and us although (thank god) she was not injured. My question is about compensation. Can I claim it for myself and my daughter? My partner can sort himself out but im worried about my little girl. How does it work in UK? Will it be taken directly from the old man who caused the accident (he was busy looking at the cows), or his insurers. Any help would be greatfully recieved

I am so insensed… we have suffered a major shock, only to have some dickhead on here accusing me of lying!!!! My car is a bloody write off, my daughter is waking all night crying and u accuse me of LYING!!!! I cannot believe some people
wow , what a lie , at that speed You would be dead , , wel i suppose it beats going to work for a living , ambulance chaser , and all this in 24 hrs , ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????? makes me sick
yes lying , false claims are pushing innocent drivers off the road , you had an accident and within hrs your looking for a claim ,if you are so ill go to the hospital rather than come on here , my partner had to be taken off the insurance because of ambulance chasers pushing the premiums up , thumbs down yeh but you will have to pay it back soon ebnough when you try to re insure ,and just because somone ran into you at (50mph) and the nets day uoiur here ? your insurance will go up to all for the sake of a quick buck a new tv and a holiday to spain , enjoy your winnings
