“Oregon” How to structure an “Owner financing” of a home?
For clarification. I am the buyer. The person selling me the home does not actually own the home…he is still paying it off..However, I heard that we can go to a title company and somehow set it up so the title company collects my monthly payments for an agreed upon amount of years, interest and payment amount. At which point I am supposed to finance the home away from the person…Is this legal and possible? What is a safe way to go about it?
all that you really are doing is renting the home with the right to purchase the house by a certain date.
