What is a fair compensation for personal injury?
Got into an accident, Got hit by a car running red. My car was totaled. I went to see Chiropractor for 3 months, and in result of $2200 medical bill. 15 days of missing work.
How much should i ask for pain and suffering? the claim adjuster is offering me $1,500. Do you think this is low?
What is your attorney saying? It is all up to whether he/she can convince them to pay what they should, and they should pay ALL damages relating to this accident (eg, medical bills, lost income, pain & suffering, etc).
You cannot “ask” for a fair amount. Insurance is obviously in the business of paying out as little as possible (every time, no exceptions), and because of this, you cannot believe what they say. You have to demonstrate that your attorney can beat their insurance company (or at least AN insurance company) in court to scare them into making a realistic offer.
