Has Anyone Ever Got Denied for Social Security Disability in the State of Georgia After Getting a Lawyer?

My doctor disabled me in June of 2008. I put in for my disability in July 1, 2008. I got denied in August 2008. I appealed it in September 2008. It went to the initial appeal in February 2009. I got denied again April 15, 2009. I talked to a lawyer in April. He said that it would take at least a year to get. Their was 18,000 cases ahead of mine. I’ve been told that a lawyer always gets it. I got a lawyer that hasn’t lost a case in 3 years. I know that don’t mean he will win mine. Has anyone ever got denied for social security disability in Georgia? I mean after hiring a lawyer and going to court. It is hard to play the waiting game. I know I’m not able to work either.

Well I live Virginia and it’s been a little over a year and I’ve been rejected twice, one of those times was with a lawyer. From what I understand anymore it takes up to 2 years or more. I wish you luck. I know how it feels to have to wait.
