How can i get an lapsed insurance policy revived ?

My veh has met with an accident , not very fatal . On scrutiny it is found that my ins policy is lapsed . I can not claim the compensation. I am told to approach some friendly company which will arrange the policy anyway and get my veh repaired at their cost . Can i get some contact number ?

AINT HAPPENING/those companys all inspect the car before they insure/also they check a piece of paper that shows your history
