compensation for bodily injury caused by a car accident?
A truck going over 40 miles an hour slammed the car on my side passenger. I was going aroun 25-30. He crossed a red light. Both cars were towed to the scene. My car has been reached and my insurance is to issue a check for the car. What about my injury not so obvious? I ', ve hired a lawyer but would not tell me a detail such cases. It '; s no fractures or surgery necessary. The next day I was napping, n 't concentrate, nausea, and sleeping much. My back and neck are slightly painful. Do see a doctor for that. Cat scan showed no damage to the brain. I can, t always focus on writing a good paper. Doc said it will take several weeks to return to normal. Is it even worth continuing with a lawyer. I can function with few drugs, but not the same as pre-crash course. What does someone in this kind of case of other insurance company? Any example? Thank you.
what u can get depends on the negligence of the other party, any contributory negligence on your part and the nature and extent injuries .. go to a good doc and follow his instructions.take that more tests are recommended, and see how you progress. If you are still not satisfied get a second opinion of some doc that deals with the type of compliant .. you have any potential recovery, assuming that negligence is based on the amount reasonable medical bills, lost working time and temporary or permanent loss of ability to enjoy life and the physical return to normal activities … a old rule of thumb in the liberal courts was about 3 times the amount of med bills plus lost time .. in most soft tissue injuries of tissue type, as you describe now put less if you do not have the strong support of treating doc .. chiropatric treatment is difficult to justify in most regions ..
